Importing Leads via CSV
How to format your CSV and bulk-import contacts into Mail Maya.
CSV import lets you bring in hundreds or thousands of leads at once. Mail Maya supports CSV files exported from CRMs, spreadsheets, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and most other tools.
How to import
- Go to Leads in the sidebar
- Click Import leads
- Upload your CSV file
- Map each CSV column to the correct Mail Maya field
- Review the preview showing the first few rows
- Click Confirm import
CSV format requirements
- The file must be a .csv file (comma-separated)
- The first row must be a header row with column names
- An email column is required — all other columns are optional
- There is no row limit, but very large files may take a moment to process
Recommended column names
Mail Maya will try to auto-map common column names. Using standard names saves you time in the mapping step.
email, first_name, last_name, company, titleHandling duplicates
If a lead with the same email address already exists in your account, their details will be updated with the new data from the CSV. No duplicate entries are created.
Note: Clean your list before importing. Emails with typos, role-based addresses (info@, support@), or known spam traps will harm your sender reputation.
