Pausing and Resuming Campaigns

How to pause a campaign and safely resume it.

You can pause a campaign at any time — for example to refine your copy, update your lead list, or simply take a break from sending.

How to pause

On the Campaigns page, find the campaign and click the pause button (or change the status to Paused). Mail Maya immediately stops processing that campaign. No further emails will be sent until you resume.

What happens to in-progress leads

When you pause, leads that are mid-sequence stay exactly where they are. When you resume, they continue from their next pending step. If a follow-up delay had already elapsed while the campaign was paused, Mail Maya sends the email at the next opportunity within the sending window.

How to resume

Click Resume (or change the status to Running) on the Campaigns page. The campaign picks up immediately from where it left off.

Tip: If you paused to make edits, any changes you made will apply only to steps that have not been sent yet. Emails already sent are not affected.
